Just for fun and because I guess the midterm elections last week riled me up -- I've posted links on the left for twelve likely Democratic Presidential candidates in 2008. Two, Mike Gravel of Alaska and Tom Vilsack of Iowa have filed their FEC papers. Joe Biden of Delaware has announced.

While I was cutting and pasting this list I noticed something a little startling. Nine out of the twelve names are in the top half of the alphabet and seven out of those nine are in the top five letters of the alphabet, A-E. Seven out of twelve in the top 20% of the alphabet. These people are used to being at the front of the line.

All the more reason to like Richardson and Obama.

I know, Hillary was "Rodham" in her formative years.

What's the visual equivalent of a "tin ear"? "Jello eyes?" Whatever it is, John Kerry's got that too. Above is the first image you see on his PAC site.
