If Everybody's Guilty Of Everything (imported from my Hamlet blog)

Thursday, February 28, 2008

William F. Buckley, Jr. died a few days ago. Here's an exchange between him and Professor Noam Chomsky from 1969.

As they debate the Vietnam War, Buckley offers "If everybody's guilty of everything, then no one's guilty of anything." Chomsky's reply is interesting, surprising.

Hello Jessi (imported from my Hamlet blog)

Thank you for posting, Jessi. Not that I have a problem having a dialogue with myself, as you all know. But we could have some fun here. Tell us more about why you like Q2.

The process is wonderful. I love it. At the same time, I wish we had our script. I'm anxious to get out of our chairs.

Polonius with an assist from Ophelia:

188 bandaids walk into a bar. One of them sees a Kotex maxipad sitting alone across the room. He says "I think I should go over and talk to her." His friend says "No, she's out of your league."

Ophelia with an assist from Polonius:

188 gelatos walk into a bar. When Ophelia is finished with strawberry, pineapple walks up to her and says "What about me?" Ophelia says "I'll spoon with you, but I'm not going to fork you."

Disagree that these were the best? BLOG IT.

Your mothers agreed with me last night, though.
